Virtual/Blended Student’s Hearing,
Vision, Scoliosis, and BMI Screenings
Grades K,1,2,4
If your child’s last name begins with the letter A-M they need to be at the high school on 2/4/21 at 8am.
If your child’s last name begins with the letter N-Z they need to be at the high school on 2/5/21 at 8am.
Grades 6,8,10
If your child’s last name begins with the letter A-M they need to be at the high school on 2/18/21 at 8am.
If your child’s last name begins with the letter N-Z they need to be at the high school on 2/19/21 at 8am.
Your child needs to bring their chromebooks with them. They will be in the auditorium attended by a substitute teacher while they wait for their name to be called for their screenings.
You have the following three choices:
1)Wait for them in the parking lot.
2)They can ride the bus to and from school.
3)You can drop them off and they can call you when they are done.
***6th and 8th grade girls will need to wear a bathing suit top or bra under their shirt. Their shirt will be removed to assess for scoliosis properly. All screenings are state mandated. If you wish for your child to be exempt from screenings, this needs to be submitted in writing by February 1st, 2021. According to state law, for a child to be exempt from a Scoliosis Screening, you have to provide a philosophical or religious reason.
